I came to think of a couple of questions regarding company culture – not least inspired by www.kolindkuren.dk. It would be great to have your view on the thoughts:
Question # 1
To what degree does the behaviour of employees/managers correspond to values of the company/companies you work for? Can you give some concrete examples showing a great match - or a poor match - between the behaviour/communication of employees/managers and the company values?
Question # 2
Who should define the values of the company? Should the owner of the company? Should management do it? Should employees? Or should customers define the values?
Question # 3
If the company values, that the customers define by observing/listening to/communicating with the employees/managers of the company, prove to be different than the values defined by owners/management/employees, should the values of the company then be changed?
