Via a tweet by Jacob Bøtter, I came across Sourcemap, an open source project about where things come from. I learned here, that the people behind this interesting solution built Sourcemap, so that everyone can access the information needed to make sustainable choices and share them with the world.

To what extent are you using collective intelligence?
Via a Twitter update by Arie Goldshlager, I came across this interesting 16 minute audio with Thomas Malone about collective intelligence. Listening to Thomas Malone, I learned that there are 4 questions that need to be answered about any activity:
1. Who is doing the activity?
2. What is the activity in the first place?
3. Why are they doing the activity?
4. How are they doing the activity?
Regarding question # 1, Thomas Malone mentions that the 2 key designs patterns are hierarchy and crowd. In this regard, you may be able to benefit from this presentation about 3 ways of organizing.

Which words do leaders use when communicating?
Towards the end of the 8½ minute video below, Gary Hamel reflects on words leaders use when communicating. Mr. Hamel mentions that the words denoting the great ideals, which have driven extraordinary human accomplishment, are things like joy, truth, honor, loyalty, wisdom, beauty, and justice.

Listening to Ms. Joanna Barsch in this 7 minute video, I learned, for example, the following 4 things about the differences between women and men:

Most women rate meaning higher than pay and status.
Most men rate pay and status higher than meaning.
# 2
Women experience more emotions than men – negative as well as positive emotions.
# 3
Women build deep relationships but don’t have wide networks.
Men build wide networks but not deep relationships.
# 4
Men tend to take more risks than women.
